Prolonged hemorrhoids are a disease and can be defined as swollen or enlarged veins that appear around the anus area. Prolonged hemorrhoids are often characterized by severe symptoms such as itching, painful irritation, and light to severe bleeding from the anus. This leads to a feeling of restlessness in the area of the anus. As it is, the condition can be roughly divided into two categories namely H. Internal hemorrhoids and external hemorrhoids. With internal issues, swelling of the veins occurs in the anus; With the outer poles, the swelling occurs outside the anus.

Under normal circumstances, internal piles do not appear outside the anus. In this case, however, if the hemorrhoids are excessively enlarged, they tend to come out of the anus. Such a situation is called prolapsed hemorrhoids. In this state, the protrusions appear as a group of soft tissues; which are red in color. They are moist and mostly covered with rectal mucus. Initially, the condition as such is not painful. However, if the condition becomes severe, which is usually the case in later stages, in which case they swell completely outside the anus. It can also cause the blood to clot, which would lead to a condition called thrombosed hemorrhoids.

This condition is the result of inappropriate eating habits, age, inheritance and pregnancy factors aside from a few other factors. As it is, all remedies and treatments used to treat normal hemorrhoids can be used to treat prolapsed hemorrhoids. These therapies generally revolve around natural methods such as increasing your intake of foods high in fiber, increasing your intake of fluids, avoiding addiction to alcohol, tobacco or smoking, and appropriate physical activity. Besides these, hot water baths, applying ice packs to the affected area and applying creams and ointments to the affected area are other remedies for this condition.

However, if the condition is very serious, surgery is the only option that may work. To determine the course of treatment, the severity of the disease should be assessed. The condition can be divided into four grades, namely H. First degree, second degree, third degree and fourth degree. In the first degree, the protrusion does not protrude out of the anus. At a second degree, it protrudes from the anus, but enters and leaves the rectal opening without manual intervention. In the third degree, hemorrhoids protrude from the anus and must be manually inserted into the anus. The fourth degree is the most serious condition where the protrusion cannot even be inserted manually. In such a condition, surgery is the only option.
